Jonathan Medved (b. 1955) is more than just a serial entrepreneur; he is one of the driving forces shaping Israel’s high-tech scene. Founder and CEO of OurCrowd, Medved has been called the “Startup Nation’s guru” by the Jerusalem Post. Born in San Diego to a Navy veteran and scientist, he made aliyah in 1980 and gradually embraced a more religious life under the guidance of Rabbi Daniel Lapin.
Medved co-founded Israel Seed Partners in 1995 with just $2M and launched OurCrowd in 2013.
